What is Subrion? Subrion is an open-source Content Management System (CMS} that enables you to quickly and easily build customized websites for almost any purpose. Subrion is free and completely open source software distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL v3).
So what is a subraction Content Management system, you ask? A subraction Content Management system (or simply cms for short) is one in which there is no single piece of content that you can edit or add to your website. Instead, what you have instead is a collection of individual files that are managed by a program or a set of programs such as Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, etc., or by specialized software like Acebo, Editlet, Lupo, SitePro or even Confide. In short, subraction CMS gives you more freedom, versatility, customization and performance capabilities in a single content management system.
To edit your subraction site, first install the Subrion administrative interface, then install all required plugins. The most common Subrion plugins are those related to configuration, theme engine, translation, localization and so on. To start off with installation, just click on the “install now” button found in the menu on the front page. If prompted by user intervention, enter a pass phrase for activation – such as, “udo password” – to enable the Subrion administrative interface to access the needed configuration data. You will probably need to configure several plugins to get things running; some of them may not be installed unless you specifically install them.
After you’ve installed all required Subrion plugins, log onto the Subrion admin panel to access your newly created site. Under the Configuration column, click next to “Site Options” to display the subrion configuration editor. You can view the available options under various headings. Change the values for all values shown in the column to match your settings for your preferred settings for your Subrion installation.
Change the values in the “license text box” if you are using an open source CMS to publish your site. If you are using an HTML editor, change the ” unmistakable fonts ” setting to the font type you prefer. If you are publishing in an RSS format, you should also modify the “setting to use txt.” These are just a few of the many Subrion customization settings available. For information on the individual plugin you have chosen to use on your site, open the Subrion config file in yourepad for editing. Some commonly used configuration lines include the following:
There are numerous additional Subrion plugins that will enhance the functionality of your blog or website. Some of these plugins will provide professional templates for your sidebar. There are also other plugins that will provide your content with search engine optimization in mind. Most of the most popular and effective professional templates for WordPress and other platforms can be found in the Subrion WordPress Plugin and the Subrion Ace WordPress Plugin.
If you are not happy with your current blogging platform, consider upgrading to a premium CMS such as Joomla. Joomla offers several free options that you should take a look at. In addition to the free Movable Type component, the free version of Joomla includes an online helpdesk that is full of helpful information about the different modules of the CMS. With Joomla, you can easily update your blogs without needing to learn any new modules. You also do not need to hire a writer to create unique articles. With the help of the online content management system provided by Joomla, creating and updating content is made easy.
Some of the fields management functions included in the subscription forms of Subrion include custom auto-responder addresses, preview of upcoming posts, comments and other subscription related fields. All the fields related to content can be edited and customized by the administrator of the Subrion administration dashboard. The fields management system in the online content management system of Subrion allows different languages to be listed in the editor bar. This feature makes it possible for the readers of different languages to view the content in their preferred language.
